The DESTA consortium is composed to represent a 100% European Value chain for an SOFC APU truck appication for the US market. While TOFC is working on SOFC APU stack optimization, the requirements for the application of an SOFC APU on the US truck markets are collected. Based on test results from the systems of AVL and Eberspächer (CCES), a benchmark will be performed by the independent research institute Forschungszentrum Jülich. The result of this benchmark is an optimized DESTA SOFC APU combining the superior features of the individual systems for truck application.
