In November 2015, five months after the official project closure, the DESTA Project will participate at the 5th edition of the FCH-JU Programme Review Days in Brussels, Belgium. After 2012, 2013 and 2014, we were once again invited to contribute to this great event. If you are interested in the event, more information can be found here.

On November 11th and 12th, the DESTA project participated at the 4th edition of the FCH-JU Programme Review Days in Brussels, Belgium. This event aims to assess, over the years, progress and achievements of the FCH JU programme.

After also joining in 2012 and 2013, Michael Reissig - on behalf of the whole DESTA consortium - took the opportunity to present the DESTA project to an interested audience.

In the March 2014 issue of "SAE Off-Highway Engineering", the DESTA project was featured in the article "Fuel cell APUs show promise for heavy-duty truck anti-idling".

In November 2013, the FCHJU's "Program Review Days" took place in Brussels for the third time. These review days offer an excellent visibility platform for projects as well as technological developments in the sector in addition to networking opportunities for project participants.

In the course of the event, project coordinator Jürgen Rechberger gave an overview over the project progress in year 2 and also presented the DESTA poster, which you can see below.

The DESTA project has been presented at the 2012 FCH JU Program Review by the coordinator Juergen Rechberger on November 28, 2012. During these review days all running FCH JU projects and additional fuell cell related FP7 projects are presented.

Mr. Rechberger explained the latest results and accomplishments after 1 year of project duration. The feedback of the audience and the reviewers was very positive.

The DESTA project has been confirmed as one of the leading-edge European fuel cell projects.

DESTA and the AVL SOFC APU have been presented at the Fuel Cell Seminar and Exposition, an international Fuel Cell & Hydrogen conference for customers and stakeholders, held at Mohegan Sun (USA) from 5th until 8th of November 2012. Around 1000 attendees and exhibitors participated to the conference, mainly from automotive-, aerospace- and military industry, stack manufacturer, fuel cell system manufacturer, component suppliers and universities with SOFC and PEM focus.

The Fuel Cell Seminar and Exposition was dominated by US attendees and exhibitors with participation from the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Korea and other European and Asian countries. Companies like UTC Power, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Clean Energy, NexTech Materials, Delphi Automotive Systems, TOFC, Fuel Cell Energy, Hydrogenics, Toshiba Fuel Cell Power Systems, Versa Power Systems, Ford Motor Company etc. visited the AVL booth with DESTA SOFC APU Prototype System.

All visitors were impressed of the packaging and the design of the prototype SOFC APU. In the presentation the actual status of the SOFC APU, system targets and project partners of the DESTA project were presented.
